It’s important to give some thought to the intersectional problems that can happen for different ladies on Global Women’s Day – as a disabled, asexual, working course woman, it is key in my situation to state exactly how every one of my identities impacts my entire life. I’m constantly alert to my dialect. We spent my youth in Birmingham, one of the primary towns within the UK – one usually seen as rife with criminal activity.
The vulnerability i will feel being a women that are disabled the town is hard and has now triggered us to feel anxious through the years. I would feel like there was a sign hanging over my head telling people I was an easy target when I used mobility aids in town.
