I don’t think Margaret Wharton (1943-2014) and Issy Wood thought much about Jasper Johns once they had been within their studios that are separate. But i really do think one good way to see their works is by the lens of Johns’s credo that is well-known “Take an object. Make a move to it. Make a move else to it. ”
